I am the designer of LifeJournal software. A long-time journal writer, I’ve created LifeJournal to solve the problems of many journal writers, including:
- writing consistently–even when you’re not sure what to write
- writing without fear of others reading it–so you are writing without censorship
- keeping all of your writing in one place so that you can quickly and easily find what you’ve written (and not spending a lot of time on the housekeeping of journal writing!)
- finding journal entries common themes in journal entries to see common threads, life patterns, and gain insight
- tracking behavior and seeing progress in attaining goals
- keeping the journal writing process fun, fresh, and friendly!
I believe strongly in keeping a private diary. After 35 years of journal writing, I know that a private journal is a perfect environment to learn about myself and my world, to practice writing, to vent feelings in a safe environment, to capture and record seedling ideas and dreams, and to remember and record the past.
In May, 1999 LifeJournal was launched. LifeJournal has sold more than 30,000 copies worldwide. I’m president of Chronicles Software Company, and I live in Sarasota, Florida.
